STS Health carries out Performance Qualification for sterilisers, washer disinfectors and ultrasonic equipment.

Did you know that simply having a steriliser that works does not ensure that your instruments come out sterile?

STS Health offers Performance Qualification (PQ) that tests your steriliser with your largest load to ensure that all the instruments are completely sterile.

Performance Qualification is the foundational testing required for all steriliser monitoring programs. This testing is the basis for the daily/weekly testing and monitoring carried out by your practice.

STS Health carry out Performance Qualification in compliance with:

AS/NZS 4815:2006 Office-based healthcare facilities - Reprocessing of reusable medical and surgical instruments and equipment, and maintenance of the associated environment.

AS/NZS 4187:2014 Reprocessing of reusable medical devices in health service organisations.
